Not even close for me. Gotta be Bellvue. Anybody know what the story is for this band? Why did he form this band if he was just gonna be going solo? Makes little sense to me, personally.

I met Jesse and he is a cool guy. According to him D-Generation broke down to people wanting to do differnt stuff. If you listen to his solo CD as something by that is not D-Gen it actually is pretty good. If you go in thinking your gonna hear D-Gen your not gonna like it.

The Bellvue CD was actually pretty cool. Took a while to get into though, but it grew on me after a few spins. Some good cuts on there.

after DGen broke up Jesse formed PCP Highway with Howie. PCP Highway only lasted about 6 months when Howie was asked to join Danzig which Todd was already a member of. PCP Highway recorded an album but after they broke up the record label dropped them and it has yet to see the light of day. I have a demos version of that album and a few live shows. After PCP Highway disolved, Jesse ventured on as a solo artist recording his '169EP'. after that there was the 'So-Low Shows' (i have a copy of both the 169EP and the So-Low Show) which was basiclly Jesse doing acoustic shows. After that Jesse formed another band and called it Tsing Tsing. after a few months he changed the name to Bellvue which was almost the name of the band back in the PCP Highway days. And then after that came his first official solo release 'The Fine Art Of Self Destruction' followed by 'The Heat' this year. To Jesse, his solo stuff and his bands were two seperate animals joined at the hip you could say.
on top of that was the band The Fingers in which Jesse played bass under the name Irving Plaza. Ryan Adams was the guitarist on this under the name Warren Peace.
there is also Jesse's pre DGeneration NYC hardcore punk band Heart Attack. He started this band when he was 12.
can you tell that i kinda like DGen? they have been responsible for some pretty important things in my life.
oh, and to stay on topic, i will go with DGeneration here.

I used to listen to DGeneration. Specially I liked their first album but... nowadays got no idea what their members are into. I know one of them played with Danzig or maybe still playin' and the other putting up a solo career this one Malin... but anyway I am not interested in it!
